Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Foor. They cover the planned Foor app, in-app ride bookings, and the website at justfoor.com.
The legal entity that operates Foor has not been confirmed yet. Until that name is published on this page, reach the operator at admin@justfoor.com.
By using Foor, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be able to enter a contract. Foor is not for children under 13.
Foor is not a transportation provider
Foor is a technology company, not a transportation provider. The planned service presents available ride options and fares, books on your behalf after confirmation, handles billing, and sends trip updates. Foor does not supply a car or driver or operate the ride.
When a booking is accepted, your ride is operated by the independent provider. Their terms, their insurance, their fare rules, and their drivers apply. A disagreement about a ride is between you and that company.
The service
You open the Foor app on your kosher phone or smartphone and enter your pickup and drop-off. Foor is being built to present available ride options and the fare up front. After you choose and confirm, Foor books on your behalf and shows driver details and trip updates in the app. Service availability and provider connections are subject to approval; this website does not offer live bookings.
We do not promise that a provider will accept a trip, that a car will arrive, that a particular person will drive, or that the service will be available in every neighborhood. Coverage grows as companies join. If Foor has no option for a trip, the product should say so.
We can change, pause, or stop parts of the service. We can refuse or remove a listing.
Fares, fees, and billing
Prices in the product are estimates supplied by providers or calculated from information they make available. They can change before you book. The provider sets the final fare. Taxes, tolls, tips, waiting time, traffic, and a change of route may not be in the first number you see.
The prices and the phone picture on justfoor.com are illustrations. They explain the product. They are not offers, not live quotes, and not a promise of a fare.
Foor will disclose the available fare and any Foor service fee before confirmation and handle billing for the booking. Fee amounts and payment terms will be published before the service is available. Provider rules may impose cancellation or other additional charges. Foor does not claim to show every provider or guarantee a particular fare.
Third-party providers
Any references to Uber or Lyft are descriptive only. Their names belong to their respective owners. Foor does not claim affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or approved API access. Planned integrations depend on each provider’s permission and terms.
Local car services are independent businesses. A listing means the company may appear as an available ride option. It is not a safety inspection, a background-check certificate, or a promise about how the company treats riders.
If you leave Foor to finish a booking on a provider’s own app or phone line, that provider’s terms govern the ride from there.
Kosher phones and smartphones
Foor is designed for kosher and filtered phones, iPhone, and Android. You request and confirm rides in the Foor app; driver details and trip updates appear there too. Specific approvals and supported devices will be confirmed before launch.
The app requires a supported device and a data connection. Your mobile provider’s data charges may apply; Foor does not control those charges.
Listings and featured placement
A local company can ask to be listed or featured. We decide whether to list a company. We can ask for information that helps riders recognize the company, and we can say no.
Featured placement may be paid. When the product shows a featured company, it will be labeled as featured. A feature is advertising. It is not a safety certification, a quality guarantee, or an endorsement.
If you send a business inquiry, you confirm that you are allowed to write for that company, and that what you send is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
App stores
The iPhone and Android apps are distributed through the App Store and Google Play when those listings are live. Until then, the buttons on this website say Coming soon. Apple and Google run those stores and have their own terms. A download from a store is also subject to that store’s rules.
The ride fare and any Foor service fee will be disclosed before you confirm. Billing and payment details will be provided before the service becomes available.
Acceptable use
Use Foor for a genuine ride request or business inquiry. Do not:
- Break the law with the service.
- Pretend to be another person or another company.
- Send a form for a business you do not represent.
- Use someone else’s account or contact details without their permission.
- Interfere with the service, or probe it in a way that degrades it for other people.
- Copy the service to build a competing product from our software or our site.
We can suspend access if these rules are broken.
Notes you send us
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to use it to reply and to consider a listing, a feature, or a partnership. Do not send information you would not put in an ordinary email. If email delivery on this website is not connected, the form does not save your note. The page will say that.
Intellectual property
The website, the foor wordmark, the software, and the text we wrote are owned by the operator of Foor or used with permission. You may view the public pages and share links to them. You may not copy the site’s design or wording for your own product.
Provider names and logos remain the property of those providers. We use the names to identify options.
Privacy
The privacy policy explains what we collect and when we share it. It is part of these terms. Trip details may be shared to request available options and fares. After confirmation, rider details are shared as needed to book and manage your ride.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that an estimate is accurate, complete, or current, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that a provider will honor a price you saw.
Some places do not allow a disclaimer of certain warranties. In those places, the disclaimers apply only as far as the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Foor and its operator are not liable for a provider’s acts or omissions. That includes injury, delay, cancellation, a driver’s conduct, the condition of a vehicle, a route the driver takes, or a fare the provider charges. We are not liable for the difference between an estimate and the price you pay.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, even if we were told they were possible.
If we are liable for a claim about the service, the total amount is limited to the greater of what you paid Foor for the service in the three months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars.
These limits do not apply where the law forbids them. That includes liability for fraud or willful misconduct, and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where a limit is not allowed. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you cannot waive as a consumer.
If you submit a business note
If you write on behalf of a company, you are responsible for a claim that comes from information you submit that is false, to the extent the law allows. This section is about business inquiries. It is not a promise that a rider will pay for something a driver does.
Disputes and New York law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where the law says you must be allowed to sue somewhere else, you and we agree to the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
Before filing a case, email admin@justfoor.com and describe the dispute. We will try to resolve it informally for 30 days. That wait does not apply if you need a court to stop immediate harm, and it does not take away a deadline the law imposes.
These terms do not require arbitration, and they do not waive a class action where you have the right to bring one.
Changes, and the rest of the contract
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. The new terms apply to use after that date. A dispute that already started stays under the terms in effect when it started.
If a court holds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Waiting to enforce a right is not a waiver. These terms, plus the privacy policy, are the whole agreement about the service. You may not assign your side of this agreement. We may assign ours as part of the business.
A heading is only a label. It does not change the meaning of the section.
