Who we are
The legal entity that operates Foor has not been confirmed yet. Until that name is published on this page, reach the operator at admin@justfoor.com.
In this policy, “Foor,” “we,” and “us” mean that operator. “You” means a rider, a person using a kosher phone, or someone writing to us about a listing or partnership.
Short version
- You give us a pickup and a drop-off so we can request available ride options and fares and book after you confirm.
- If you allow it, we can use an approximate location to fill in the pickup. You can type an address instead.
- On kosher phones and smartphones, you enter and confirm ride requests in the Foor app; driver details and trip updates appear in the app.
- We may share the trip details needed to obtain options and fares. After you confirm, we share the rider and booking details needed to arrange and manage the ride.
- We do not sell personal information.
- The business form on this website is not stored when email delivery is turned off. The page tells you that.
What we collect
We collect information you give us, information that comes from the phone or browser you use, and a small amount of technical data needed to run the service.
Trip details you enter
When you request a ride, you give us a pickup and a drop-off. That can be a street address, a place name, or a description you enter in the app. In the planned service, we use it to request available options and fares, book after confirmation, and manage trip updates.
Approximate location, if you allow it
If you turn on location permission, we use an approximate location to suggest a pickup. You can refuse that permission and type the place yourself. We do not ask for background location, and we do not follow your phone while you are not using Foor. You can turn the permission off in your phone’s settings.
Device and app information
When you use the app, we may receive the kind of device, the operating system, the app version, the language, and a diagnostic note if something fails. We use that to keep the app working and to fix problems. This marketing site does not use a third-party analytics tool.
Booking, billing, and trip messages
The booking service is in development. It is intended to process ride confirmations, driver and trip status, billing details, and receipts. Before payments are enabled, we will publish the payment provider and details about payment-data handling. Do not send card information through the business form or ordinary email.
Business form
If you write from the For businesses page, you give us your name, company, email, the kind of interest you chose, a message, and a phone number if you include one.
- Identifiers
- Name, email address, phone number, and company name.
- Trip information
- Pickup and drop-off you enter, and an approximate location if you permit it.
- Device data
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, and error diagnostics.
- Messages
- Business inquiries, in-app ride requests, booking confirmations, and trip updates.
Kosher phones and the Foor app
Foor is designed for kosher and filtered phones that may not run typical rideshare apps, with iPhone and Android versions planned too. Specific approvals and supported devices will be confirmed before launch. You enter your trip and confirm a booking in the Foor app. We process those requests to show available options, arrange confirmed bookings, and display driver details and trip updates in the app.
The app uses a data connection. Your mobile provider handles that connection under its own practices. Contact details may be needed for account, booking, or support purposes. We do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To obtain available ride options and upfront fares for your requested trip.
- To book your confirmed ride, handle billing, and send driver details and trip updates.
- To answer a listing, feature, or partnership note.
- To keep the service reliable, to prevent abuse, and to fix errors.
- To meet a legal duty, such as responding to a lawful request or keeping a record we are required to keep.
We do not use your trips to build an advertising profile, and we do not use them to sell ads.
When we share it
We share personal information in these situations:
- Ride providers. We may share pickup and drop-off details to obtain available options and fares. When you confirm, we share the rider and trip details needed to book and manage the ride, including a phone number where required. Providers process that information under their own privacy policies. Independent rideshare providers and local car services are separate from Foor; planned connections are subject to approval.
- An email vendor, only when mail is connected. Business notes can be sent through an email service such as Resend or MailChannels, acting for us, and only to deliver that message to our inbox. Until that service is connected, this website does not hand the form to anyone.
- App infrastructure and payment providers. The planned service will use providers to support in-app bookings, driver details, trip updates, and billing. We will identify the applicable services and update these details before booking and payment features are enabled.
- Our host. This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you load a page, Cloudflare processes connection data, including IP address, to deliver the site and to resist abuse. We do not use that data to advertise to you.
- Law and safety. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.
- A successor. If the business is sold or combined with another, the buyer would receive the information it needs to keep operating, and would still be bound by this policy or one that gives you the same protections.
We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not offer money or a discount in exchange for your information.
Cookies and this website
justfoor.com does not set advertising cookies and does not load third-party analytics. It does not run a tracker. Fonts are stored with the site, not fetched from another company while you read. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy before we do.
The host may use strictly necessary technical measures to serve pages and block abuse. Those are not used to follow you around the web for ads.
Children under 13
Foor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email admin@justfoor.com and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it.
- Trip searches. Long enough to provide requested options, manage confirmed bookings and billing, send trip updates, keep required records, and prevent abuse. We do not keep a marketing file of your trips to sell to others.
- Business form, when email is on. The message lives in our inbox. We keep the correspondence long enough to reply, to consider a listing or partnership, and for ordinary business records. Then we delete it.
- Business form, when email is off. The form checks the note and then discards it. It is not emailed and it is not saved. The page says so, and it gives you a link to email us yourself.
- Connection logs. Our host may keep short-lived technical logs to operate and protect the site, under its own schedule.
Security
We use HTTPS for this website and for the connection from the app. Access to business messages is limited to people who need them to respond. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Use a current phone and browser when you can.
For New York residents, we keep administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to meet the New York SHIELD Act’s requirements for protecting private information.
Your choices and rights
You can email admin@justfoor.com with the subject “Privacy request” to ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it.
- Delete it, unless we need to keep a piece for a legal reason or to finish something you already asked us to do.
- Give you a copy of what you sent us.
We may ask you to confirm that you control the email or phone number on the request. We aim to answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you. If we say no, reply to that email and we will look again. We will not treat you worse for asking.
Someone you authorize can write for you. We may ask for proof of that permission, and we may still ask you to confirm it is you.
California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you specific rights. Those include the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising a right.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it as the law defines “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because of that, there is no sale or share to opt out of. You can still email us and we will confirm that.
Sensitive personal information we may hold is a phone number, and precise location only if a device ever provides it. We use a phone number to carry out the ride request or business note you sent. We use location, when you allow it, to suggest a pickup. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you.
In the last 12 months, the categories we collect are the ones listed above: identifiers, trip and location information you provide, device data, and the contents of messages you send. We collect them from you and from the device or browser you use. We disclose trip details as needed to request options and fares, and rider details as needed to book and manage a ride after you confirm. We disclose a business note to an email vendor only when email delivery is turned on.
New York residents
If you live in New York, you can email us to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and we will respond as described above. We also maintain reasonable safeguards designed for the New York SHIELD Act. If a New York law gives you an additional right, you can exercise it by contacting us and we will honor it.
Foor was built first with riders in New York communities in mind, including Monsey and Brooklyn. The service is operated from the United States. If you use it from somewhere else, your information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date. The date at the top is the one that applies. For the service, continued use after the new date means the updated policy applies to use after that date.
How to contact us
Email admin@justfoor.com. A postal address will be added here when the legal entity is confirmed. Until then, email is the way to reach the operator about privacy.
The terms of use explain that Foor is software, and that prices and rides come from independent providers.
